Overview
The Shift Supervisor ensures the required service intervals are maintained and is responsible for coordinating fueling, washing, lunch breaks, and any lot changes to cover operational demands. The following is a list of major duties to be performed:

Responsibilities
- Responsible for enforcing driver schedules, lunch breaks, assigning shuttles.
- Responsible for Providing additional coverage for breaks and lunches.
- Responsible for reporting any procedure or safety violation committed by drivers on their shift.
- Assisting MOD to ensure service and headway requirements are met between shuttle routes.
- Responsible for radio protocol and procedures.
- Responsible for reporting transient activity in the South Lot.
- Responsible for reporting accumulations of trash in areas of the Remote and Ancillary Lots.
- Responsible for fleet rotation and fuel coordination with maintenance on each shift.
ResponsibilitiesDaily Bank Deposits
All bank deposits for remote and ancillary lots are prepared in the Parking Office by either a supervisor or above. Deposits are secured in a safe onsite until deposits are made at the end of each day while the Employee Parking Office is open. All credit card revenue is batched out at the end of each workday. All cash/check deposits are taken by an armored truck, and are then deposited directly into LAWA accounts. No ABM accounts are used. Deposits are reconciled daily as part of the end of day process.
Budget Lot
Budget Parking transportation has been added to our responsibilities. The Budget Parking Facility is located at 5455 W. 111th Street, Los Angeles, CA. 90045. The peak period will consist of a total of 6 shuttles vs. the non-peak period of 3 shuttles. Although our management is not responsible for the Customer Service Representative (CSR) scheduling (training, etc.), our supervisors are responsible for assisting guests when needed.
Accident Response
If the driver can be transported by ABM staff, the Supervisor will drive the employee and remain with the employee while they are treated. The Supervisor will attempt to complete their initial investigation while with the employee and the procedures for worker’s compensation are implemented in full. The MOD will become the Designated Investigator (DI).
If the driver must be transported by EMS, the Supervisor follows the employee to the designated facility to provide any needed support. If possible, the Supervisor will attempt to complete the initial investigation and implement worker’s compensation protocols. The MOD will become the DI.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications- Must have a minimum of 3 years prior experience in a similar role/industry
- MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH!
