The Cargo Mission Contract at Leidos currently has an opening for a Mockup Coordinator to work in our Webster, Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the NASA CLD mission. In this mission, we provide critical support to CLD mockup operations, ensuring seamless coordination of events, maintenance, and configuration management for this high-fidelity space station simulator.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Mockup Scheduling calendar and process using customer tools
- Establish and oversee an integrated process flow for mockup outfitting prioritization and approval
- Organize and lead the weekly Coordination, Scheduling, and Tag up meetings
- Organize and schedule periodic meetings to review and prioritize mockup upgrades and developments
- Coordinate mockup maintenance and repair activities with CLD customer, NASA SVMF, and vendor/subcontractor teams
- Develop installation and integration schedules for new mockup hardware
- Ensure compliance with NASA safety requirements for all mockup activities
- Work with NASA to define content and schedule requirements for operational event reviews and safety reviews
- Assist in preparing presentations for Test/Training Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Safety Reviews (SRs)
- Host tours of the mockup and coordinate media events
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field; Engineering, Project Management, or business management with 4 years of applicable experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or management in the aerospace industry
- Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with NASA or other space agencies
- Experience in event coordination
- Familiarity with space station systems and operations
- Knowledge of human spaceflight mockup or simulator operations
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CAD software for mockup configuration management
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
- Experience with safety protocols in high-fidelity simulation environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
