Caterpillar’s Remanufacturing Division is looking for a Visitor Services Coordinator for our Corinth, Mississippi facility. This position creates a world class experience for all customer/dealer visits, tours, Internal partner events, and conferences that take place in the Corinth, Mississippi facility. Visitors include domestic and international executives from diverse backgrounds. This position requires face-to-face interaction with Caterpillar customers, dealers, leaders, and senior executives. Flexibility is a must and professionalism is always a necessity.
Customer/Dealer Visits Responsibilities:
- Coordinate customer visits with the Caterpillar representatives and dealers, in addition to hosting the customer/dealer visits.
- Understand the goals and objectives of the Caterpillar Reman sponsor requesting the visit or event and tailor the experience to meet expectations.
- Gain agreement from facility and product manager as to merits of the visit or event.
- Draft and distribute agendas and arrange for presenters, tour guides, etc. to support the visit
- Use knowledge and network of different work groups (engineering, marketing, operations, quality, customer service, commercial team, etc.) to connect the appropriate Caterpillar personnel with the customer/dealer and their needs
- Create (in Excel), analyze, and distribute monthly reports on all visits and events on customers, non-customers, and financials and use the data to forecast future business and goals
- Collect data on customer satisfaction and use this information to improve customer experience
- Update monthly facility events calendar
- Organize reservations for hotels, transportation, and dinners, taking into consideration the needs of the customer, including those related to culture and religion
- Arrange for catering of meals, snacks, and beverages for all customer, dealer, and internal Cat events using customer needs (dietary, religious, etc.) to guide the decision-making process.
- Develop tour routes and tour script/content.
- Lead tours
- Responsible for building, training, and coordinating multiple teams of tour guides (can include current employees and recent retirees)
- Create story boards, displays, videos of specialty processes, equipment, projects or technology to enhance the tour experience
- Manage a Teams site for all document retention
- Manage conference room reservation policy, make changes as needed
Caterpillar Internal Partner events and Conferences
In addition to the tasks associated with Customer/Dealer Visits:
- Assist with organizing Caterpillar conferences or internal partner events such as Reman 101, Dealer days, etc. (both in-house and in the local Corinth area).
- Manage target attendee list, invitation distribution, collect responses, registration, etc.
- Coordinate presentations with the appropriate speakers
- Coordinate tours
Non-Customer/Dealer Visits
- Oversee tours from high schools, colleges, other Caterpillar facilities and professional organizations
- Draft and distribute agendas and arrange for presenters, tour guides, etc. to support
Key Skills You’ll Demonstrate
- Project Management: You will have knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics, including the ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects – ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
- Effective Communication: You will have the ability to understand effective communication concepts, tools and techniques with the ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs.
- Collaboration and Relationship Management: You will have the ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships that is essential for organizing successful tours and fostering ongoing connections.
Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and/or Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong people skills
- Previous experience with Fortune 500 personnel, culture, and brand helpful
Strong proficiency in all elements of Microsoft Office - Desired experience working with international people and a variety of cultures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment that frequently changes
- Ability to recognize, address and troubleshoot problems
- Work well under pressure
Preferred Education BS or BA in Marketing, Communications or related

Summary Pay Range:
$81,370.00 - $122,060.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
