DLO Release Manager
About your role:
As a Release Manager in the Digital Lending and Origination (DLO) group at Fiserv, you will manage releases for DLO products i.e., Mortgage Director, Loan Director and Deposit Essentials. You will be partnered with Product and Development teams to facilitate quality releases.
What you'll do:
- Create and maintain the release calendar
- Ensure all teams (engineering, QA, product, security, DevOps, support) know timelines and dependencies.
- Identify risks and make sure blockers are removed.
- Oversee tasks from code freezes, build creation, testing and deployment.
- Standardize release processes so they are repeatable and reliable
- Review release readiness: documentation, test results and signoffs.
- Coordinate last minute changes or hotfixes
- Ensure quality and compliance
Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience of direct exposure in Digital Lending and Origination platforms and capabilities
- 6+ years of experience in technology/software product management, including translating roadmaps into Agile epics and user stories and working with engineering teams to deliver updates to products
- 2+ years of experience analyzing loan file documentation and data artifacts.
- 2+ years working with existing and emerging lending technologies.
- 3+ years leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing resources without direct authority to meet delivery commitments.
- Skills: Proficiency with Agile (Scrum) practices, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, information systems, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, including military service.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or equivalent experience.
- Hands‑on configuration experience with loan origination systems
- Experience planning and launching SaaS go‑to‑market programs for lending products.
- Familiarity with mortgage regulatory frameworks (e.g., TILA, RESPA, HMDA) as applied to product design.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
