Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Tonawanda on a full-time basis.
The Role:
In this role your responsibilities will be of a technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies and standards. Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to root cause and follow issues to resolve. You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. You will be required to use your independent discernment. Your responsibility may involve training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

First line of escalation for the maintenance GL's.

Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes.

Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area.

Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.

Interface with service group personnel on technical and production problems.
-
Provide direction to small group of technical employees.
-
Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
-
Establish a course of action to accomplish OEE/TIP goals and ensure targets are met.

Schedule PM and CM activities to reach productivity targets each month.

Develop and adjusts spare part inventories.
-
Be a change champion.
-
Training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
-
3 + years maintenance experience.
-
Leadership experience.
-
Ability to read, analyze and create blueprints.
-
Strong communication skills supporting working with skilled trades and creating standardized work.

Experienced in Safety Contract Manager requirements.
-
Able to work off-shift.
-
Strong time and duty management.

Engineering degree or equivalent training.

Familiar with SAP/Ariba.

Ability to set up spare parts.

Experienced in Teamcenter and Maximo.

Compensation:
-
The expected base compensation for this role is: $94,300.00 - $150,500.00 USD Annual. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
