Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Event Designer to lead the development and execution of executive-level seminars and planning events in a secure DoD environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate senior-level planning events and working groups
- Apply structured analytical techniques to complex operational problems
- Develop scenarios, vignettes, and decision-support frameworks
- Lead collaborative discussions with senior stakeholders
- Conduct after-action reviews and capture key insights
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Graduate of an in-residence military Command and Staff College (or higher)
- Completion of a Design Thinking, Operational Design, or Facilitator course
- Minimum 5 years of military operations, planning, or resourcing experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in planning or analysis of military-related subjects
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting:
- DoD planning, programming, and budgeting processes (PPBS), OR
- JCIDS, OR
- Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
- Minimum 3 years of experience:
- Leading study teams, planning teams, or working groups
- Facilitating problem framing and development of solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting General Officer/SES-level engagements
- Strong background in systems thinking or design thinking methodologies
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
