About the role
The Project Manager provides consulting services to ourlife sciences client account to help achieve the company's strategic businessobjectives. This role acts as the Owner’s Representative for the client for projectsincluding facility infrastructure renovations, MEP, utilities, exterior, andinterior fit-outs.
This job is part of the Project Management function responsiblefor the management of projects from initiation through completion. Rolerequires to be onsite 5 days/week in Elkton, VA.
What You’ll Do
Manage all areas of projectmanagement for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design,construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Work directly with clients toprepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, projectdelivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule& milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
Define the project deliveryresources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualificationprocess. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations,and recommend resources to clients.
Implement projectdocumentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrityand documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Direct the project deliveryteam by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
Create action plans to meetobjectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and reportstatus and variances.
Demonstrate ability toidentify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service,Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach anagreement.
Impact a range of customer,operational, project, or service activities within own team and other relatedteams.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Bachelor'sDegree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP,and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
Manufacturingand/or multi-use facility construction project experience
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with projectmanagement software
Organizationalskills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
Advancedcommunication and problem-solving skills.

The minimum salary for the Building Engineer position is $88,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Building Engineer is $110,000 annually.
