Description:You will be the Industrial Electrician for the Electrical Services Team. Our team is responsible for constructing, installing, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex production machinery and associated electrical/electronic equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Electrician you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks that keep our manufacturing operations running at peak performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Construct, install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex production machinery and related electrical/electronic systems.
- Build and maintain control panels, including installation of instrument meters and temperature controllers.
- Perform diagnostics using schematics, drawings, and service manuals for machinery, robotics, and solar equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, generators, and rectifiers; calibrate instruments with specialized testing equipment.
- Train and assist Electrical Technicians II B and III, while keeping the work area clean and orderly.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:• High school degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' experience in the electrical industry.
• Previous experience with electrical and associated electronic equipment, instruments, machinery, motors and transformers.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code as it pertains to the facility and machineries within the plant
• Must be able to work on 1st or 2nd shifts as defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Due to the full access of the facility that this role would require, all candidates must be U.S. citizens
Desired Skills:• At least 4 years of trades training.
• Ingenuity to plan, construct, install, test, modify, repair and maintain a wide variety of electrical and associated electronic equipment when only limited information or general methods are available.
• Show initiative to act prudently and decisively during emergencies to avoid damage to equipment and/or facility and prevent production delays.
• Show initiative to improvise layout in changing or setting up new systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
