Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to join our Charlotte team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, assembling, installing, and positioning furniture at commercial and/or residential locations. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with customers, and can safely and efficiently handle physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, assemble, and install furniture according to specifications
- Read and interpret assembly instructions and layout plans
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture and equipment
- Ensure furniture is properly aligned, leveled, and secured
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Inspect furniture for damage and report issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- Mandatory! **Must be able to confidently drive and operate a 26-foot box truck**
- Lead with at least 3 years experiences
- Previous experience in furniture installation, assembly, or a related field preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50–75 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with office, modular, or commercial furniture systems
- Customer service experience
- Basic carpentry or mechanical skills
