We are now seeking a Software Engineer for Embedded Systems (m/f/d) in Neu-Isenburg Germany.
As a new joiner, you will work with our engineering team in the critical mission of developing and certifying safe, reliable, and innovative aircraft systems and software. You will play an important role in defining, implementing, and testing future systems and software solutions for our current fleet of production aircraft and future aircraft alike.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Neu-Isenburg. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Business Travel Requirement: You will be required to travel up to 50% of your working time to collaborate with different stakeholders and other Boeing locations
Position responsibilities:
Develop solutions for complex system engineering tasks in the domain of avionic software and design
Describe architecture requirements and software specifications and communicate them to development teams when necessary
Explore new technologies and development approaches and assess their feasibility in your field of work
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience in RTCA DO-178(B/C) Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
Familiar with standard development practices and tools (e.g., Git, Git Flow).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of experience in software development life cycles, configuration management and agile software engineering best practices
experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB Simulink
2+ years of experience of working with one or multiple of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript
