Role Definition:
Drives profitable aftermarket growth by partnering with dealers to strengthen parts, service, and customer support capabilities. Leads dealer engagement to promote Caterpillar’s aftermarket solutions and ensures best‑in‑class support to end customers. Supports the development of dealer capabilities to execute the aftermarket strategy and improve customer loyalty.
What You Will Do
- Support dealers in understanding and executing Caterpillar’s aftermarket business model, ensuring alignment with pricing guidance, commercial programs, and governance processes.
- Guide and assist dealers in forecasting parts and service demand, strengthening sales pipelines, and developing aftermarket growth plans.
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews with dealers, identifying gaps and ensuring the timely execution of corrective actions.
- Lead opportunities identification for parts and service growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance long‑term customer relationships.
- Support the introduction and adoption of new aftermarket offerings, technologies, and digital tools
- Promote value selling of Caterpillar parts, service agreements, rebuilds, and repair options.
What you will have:

Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of the organization’s industry, including trends, directions, key challenges, regulatory considerations, and market influencers, with the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately across diverse situations.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques, with the ability to analyze situations in a structured manner, solve problems, and make sound decisions based on informed judgment.
Relationship Management and Communication:
Knowledge of relationship management techniques, with the ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Includes strong communication and presentation skills, enabling the clear, structured, and persuasive delivery of ideas, proposals, and solutions to diverse audiences.
Business Development:
Knowledge of business development tools, techniques, and approaches, with the ability to identify, explore, and develop opportunities for sustainable business growth.
Value Selling:
Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology, and services, with the ability to clearly articulate and present overall value propositions, differentiating offerings based on well‑understood customer needs.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience in sales, aftermarket, customer support, or dealer operations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with sales and performance data.
Top Candidates Will Have
- Previous experience with equipment dealerships, construction/mining industries, or heavy machinery aftermarket.
- Strong knowledge of parts and service operations.
- Proven ability to influence dealer teams and drive execution without direct authority.
- Experience with digital tools and technologies (eCommerce, telematics, connected assets, fleet management platforms).
- Solid value‑selling capabilities, especially in total cost of ownership (TCO), repair options, and lifecycle cost analysis.
Additional information:
- Travel expectation is 50%.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
