Job Description Summary
Join our team as an On Wing Support Industrial Maintenance Technician and play a key role in keeping our equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
The On Wing Support Maintenance Technician will be required to follow procedures and document work, hold safety in the highest regard, be highly motivated, willing to learn & required to perform preventative/ corrective maintenance, in accordance with a total preventative maintenance (TPM) program, on various types of Commercial Jet Engine Test Cell equipment.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Keep equipment running at its best
Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections to identify issues early and minimize downtime.
Tackle repairs and get us back online
Perform corrective maintenance repairs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, and return equipment to safe, reliable operation.
Solve complex problems through failure analysis
Investigate the root causes of equipment and system failures, recommend solutions, and help prevent issues from recurring.
Work with advanced tools and technology
Operate specialized equipment and support the setup, installation, calibration, documentation, and operation of analog and digital instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing systems.
Support system reliability and continuous improvement
Contribute to the investigation, correction, and documentation of instrumentation or system malfunctions, sharing your findings to help improve processes and equipment performance.
Grow your skills across multiple disciplines
Actively participate in multi-skill development, building your capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation areas.
Support safety and compliance
Assist with safety and environmental inspections to help maintain facility compliance and uphold a strong safety culture.
Ability and willingness to work weekend shifts when required
Ability and willingness to work overtime when required
Physical requirements: Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods; climb ladders/stands; work at heights and in high‑noise environments; wear required PPE (hearing/eye protection, safety footwear, etc.)

Ability to interpret building drawings, electrical, and mechanical schematics
Capable of working from procedures
Experience in an industrial maintenance environment
Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic Skills
Instrumentation and PLC controls experience
Experience with hoist systems and their controls
Experience with maintenance of industrial electrical systems
Experience with NFPA 70E
Experience with operation of mobile equipment (forklift, telehandler, personnel lift)
Computerized maintenance management experience (Ex. Maximo, Oracle, SAP)
Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment
Strong troubleshooting experience
