The Utility Building Engineer performs general building engineering duties.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- General cleaning of engineering spaces.
- Cleaning and/or painting of non-operating mechanical equipment which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by a Journeyman Engineer.
- Perform general labor as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief
- Preventative maintenance of all assigned areas.
- Assist Journeymen Engineers whenever needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred:
• One (1) year of similar work experience
