The Opportunity
Following a series of project wins we have a strong pipeline of work on transport projects. We are looking for a technically minded and delivery driven individual to join our diverse and highly regarded structural team in Melbourne.
In this position you are responsible for leading the delivery of small to medium sized projects, or working within a team of modellers on a larger size projects to deliver the designing and modelling of engineering services related to building and infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Design Team Lead, you will be able to work independently and will be responsible for all aspects of structural 2D and 3D modelling and drafting. Specifically, the position supports Melbourne based projects but may assist other KBR locations. It includes the initiation of good relationships with clients, identification of opportunities, contributing to proposals, budgets and plans, and management of stakeholders
The role will work closely with digital engineering leads, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, civil and other designers and engineers in delivery of projects and proposals for a range of clients and infrastructure types
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will have experience in civil structural 2D and 3D modelling and drafting along with an Associate Degree, Diploma or Associate Diploma of Design/Engineering.
You will have the ability to work independently and within a team to deliver project documentation requirements within a multi-disciplinary project according to budget, schedule and quality requirements. You will be comfortable communicating with engineers and other designers and contribute to building a collaborative environment that encourages and supports high level growth and efficiency.
