Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineering at LinkedIn is a team that builds products that power LinkedIn's business infrastructure and ecosystem. We drive technology vision, architecture, design, implementation, and roll out for systems that enable the company to deliver on significant business processes (account management, payment processing, ordering/quoting and commercial models, etc). We provide products that let our customers do business with us in a seamless, world-class way, help grow our top line, and increase our efficiency.
Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) to lead largescale, cross‑ functional‑ initiatives across our Finance systems. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver predictable outcomes across highly regulated, business ‑critical platforms.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical program leadership, experience operating in SOX impacted‑ environments, and the ability to drive execution through influence rather than authority. This role is critical to ensuring financial systems are scalable, auditable, and aligned with LinkedIn’s business and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple cross-functional technical teams to deliver their objectives for data related programs and projects
- Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
- Drive new organization-wide programs to ensure data and reporting across the GTM space.
- Own and manage program and portfolio planning, execution of roadmap, and engineering operations for multiple verticals
- Drive alignments and prioritization across all technology initiatives, manage roadmap for a single consistent view and lead communications
- Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success
- Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
- Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
- Lead company critical, cross functional programs across finance related platforms such as ERP, billing, payments, payroll, revenue, tax, and financial close systems
- Own end-to-end program execution including planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and delivery
- Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate business, regulatory, and control requirements into executable technical plans
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Finance, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams with competing priorities
- Communicate program status, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leaders and executives
- Establish and evolve governance models, operating rhythms, and success metrics appropriate for finance critical programs
- Champion operational excellence, documentation rigor, and continuous improvement across teams
- Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
- Report on project status or portfolio roadmap, risks, issues and mitigation plans
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation and continuous learning
- Coach and mentor others in the best practices of modern planning and execution
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of technical program management experience
- Experience with software engineering practices gained through experience as a software engineer or managing/leading engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with finance or enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, billing, payments, payroll, revenue, tax, procurement)
- Familiarity with SOX, audit processes, and internal control concepts
- Background in platform, infrastructure, or enterprise software programs
- Experience operating in highly regulated or compliance driven‑ environments

The pay range for this role is $114,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
