Job Summary:
- The Senior Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineering Specialist supports product regulatory compliance programs through various activities that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets.

What You Will Do:
- Risk owner for Autonomy and Automation Product Regulatory Compliance, Export Controls, Customs Compliance
- Command for Hauling risk assessments and functional safety
- Mixed fleet Command for Hauling certification and functional safety
- Statement of Work contract management for certification support
- ISO standard draft review and feedback to working group
- Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements, and related technology requirements, and understand application of same to Caterpillar products.
- Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.
- Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
- Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
- Product Engineering: Knowledge of various product engineering techniques; ability to master professional methods to design, build and process hardware products or components.
- Project management experience
- Experience with mobile equipment electronics and technology

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
