You will develop test hardware, software, and/or firmware, from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing or customer facilities. These test capabilities may span multiple disciplines (Power, RF, Analog, Digital).

You will lead smaller teams of engineers, overseeing the technical execution of project tasks as well as reporting project status (cost and schedule) to STS department leadership.

You will actively identify test readiness issues and optimizations throughout the development life cycle.

You will understand and meet established project budget, schedule, and performance commitments.

You will guide mechanical engineering and/or suppliers through test adapter design activities, with moderate support from senior engineers.

You will work effectively within a team, or function as an individual contributor as needed, working autonomously with limited supervision.

You will engage in personal technical growth.

You will prepare and clearly present your work product at project status meetings.

You will support Manufacturing operations, including on-site troubleshooting and debugging.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Experience with Electrical, Software, Hardware, Mechanical, and/or Multi-Discipline Engineering

Experience in electrical engineering design and/or software automation concepts and applications.

Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience leading technical tasks with small to mid-sized project teams.

Experience with Engineering support functions like technical documentation writing, configuration management (PDM) support activities, procurement support activities, etc.

Exposure to project management tools such as MS Project, Jira/Confluence, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking software
-
Experience with National Instruments’ TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW
-
Experience with Digital, Analog, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware and/or software design
-
Experience with the routine use and/or automation of commercial test and measurement equipment, i.e. Oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power supplies, etc.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
