Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for a Data Operations Technician to support the V-22 Flight Test Team in Patuxent, MD.
The selected candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for working with a variety of complex and challenging systems, processing, interpreting, validating, and releasing flight test data to stakeholders across the V-22 Flight Test Team.
This role requires strong technical acumen, attention to detail, and effective collaboration to ensure timely, accurate delivery of critical test results that inform engineering decisions and flight safety.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Data Operations Technicians.
Position Responsibilities:
Support V-22 Flight Test
Process preflight/postflight V-22 Flight Test Data
Support real time flight within mission control (telemetry) room
Utilize unique software products for generating engineering data
Participate in V-22 Flight test planning (preflight/postflight briefs)
Work with Instrumentation team to develop test parameters
Maintain A/C data setup configurations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Experience do you have working with large database systems
Experience do you have in data/file management
Strong communication skills, Strong problem solving skills and Strong drive for process improvement
Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with Data Analysis Tools
Computer Aided Flight Test Analysis (CAFTA)
HEIM Recording products
Interactive Analysis Display Systems (IADS)
Flight Fest experience
V-22 Flight Test

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $68,000 – $92,000
Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $80,750 – $109,250
