Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner - Level 2 for the Production, Planning and Control team which is responsible for production planning for the Aeronautics line of business.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner - Level 2 you will be responsible for driving manufacturing resource planning activities that keep our supply chain on time and cost‑effective.
"Your responsibilities will include:"
- Perform Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities within MRP transactions.
- Maintain production system integrity and optimize inventory to reduce cost.
- Expedite and optimize material flow across the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, operations, and supply‑chain stakeholders to provide shop‑floor control and ensure schedule adherence.
- Manage MRP parameters, lead times, and lot sizes, and collaborate with engineering change board representatives for BOM updates.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a production control position
• Experience with SAP or equivalent MRP system
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with strong Excel skills
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of OneAero SAP operating procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers
• Experience creating shipping documents
• Experience utilizing Tableau Reporting, Power BI Reporting or similar Data Analytics reporting
• Knowledge of material management and accounting system (MMAS).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
