The Global Finance Services Division has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Irving, TX. Caterpillar has significant opportunities for business leaders who want to be challenged, make an impact, and are interested in progressing through our organization. This position will offer you the ability to interact with various finance leaders and develop tools in a fast-paced, innovative, and growing global organization. This role will encourage you to demonstrate your leadership skills, utilizing excellent communication, presentation, and financial analysis skills as well as being a liaison with other groups throughout the enterprise.
Job duties include but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the Global Finance leadership team with monthly reporting and financial analysis.
- Support short-term and long-term forecasting and planning processes to measure success towards goals and commitments.
- Support our Global Finance transformation team on special projects and any ad hoc requests.
- Provide support for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and adherence to all relevant Compliance topics
- Exposure to the quarterly earnings process.
- Managing a team and their related workload, prioritizing projects, assigning and reviewing work, and controlling the daily operating environment.
- Evaluating and reporting on staff performance, participating in employee selection, providing career guidance and training direction, complying with personnel practices, and promoting team rewards and successes.
What You Have:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related area; 5+ years of financial experience, preferably within a large and/or multinational corporation
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.
- Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.

- Experience with Legal Entity and Accountable reporting

Additional Details:
- Location: Irving, TX
- Less than 10% travel is expected
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
