Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Quality Engineer (f/m/d) for the Norderstedt, GER facility.
Position Summary:
In this exciting role, you will lead the integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals and program processes. You will develop quality metrics, certification plans, and supplier selection criteria to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory standards. Your expertise in analyzing non-conformance trends and implementing corrective actions will drive continuous improvement, all while working with minimal supervision.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Ensuring that Global Quality Systems procedures are current and compliant.
Initial review, conversion and upload of Approved Source Lists as well as the maintenance of Qualified Product Lists by specification.
Review of design holder sourcing data for alignment with internal system and supply of system driven compliance to these design holder requirements.
Support quality, part setup, contract pricing and sales team members with reviews.
Providing Approved Source List training and guidance on conversions and audits.
Main global focal for strategic customers (Airbus, Bombardier, BAe Systems, Lockheed) that control Approved Source Lists.
All tasks require critical skills that include database query review and ability to understand complex design requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
In-depth knowledge of AS9100/9120 standards as well as FAA, CAA & EASA regulatory bodies.
5+ years’ experience in quality management, quality assurance, or related roles within aerospace or manufacturing industries.
Fluent in English on a highly technical and professional level.
Business fluent proficiency of German
Solid experience with common ERP systems with SAP being highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Knowledge of SQL database queries preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business administration, Logistics & Supply Chain or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience developing and implementing quality metrics, certification plans, and supplier selection criteria.
Familiarity with international regulations and quality standards for the Aerospace and logistics industry.
Demonstrated ability to analyze non-conformance trends and lead corrective action initiatives.
Experience in developing and delivering training materials related to quality systems and processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
