Join our Rotary Wing Platform Systems Team within the Military Avionics group at Collins Aerospace. Here, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing avionics for Special Operations Aviation (SOA) program. This dynamic position offers the flexibility to push the boundaries of technology. This role requires a highly motivated person to help lead the charge for the SOA programs.
What You Will Do:*
- You will perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the SOA programs, including requirements/test procedure development, design updates, validation of system updates, etc.
- You will perform Platform Systems specific on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
- You will support cross-functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams for different Avionics Management System (AMS) builds.
- You will perform your tasks using various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others.
- You will perform investigations of the Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration investigations of the interfaces for Collin Aerospace equipment and government furnished equipment in the lab.
- Travel (domestic-US, and possible International) is possible of this position, estimating
