Who we’re looking for:
Toyota’s Service Parts Operations is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Special Activities (SA) Supply Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain supply performance for Toyota and Lexus SSC, LSC, TSB and warranty parts for dealers and distributors in North America, Mexico, and Pacific Island areas through two tiers of warehouse distribution operations for TMC & NA suppliers.
Reporting to the SA Manager, the person in this role’s objective is to provide a high standard of customer service for TSB/LSB-related parts, by delivering the right part at the right time while reducing operating costs. This person’s role will support the SA Supply Team’s objective to manage supplier orders are issued and managed to support the Part Centers (PC’s), as well as Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs)/Private Distributors (PDs). Inventory management from supplier parts orders delivery to PCs/PDCs/PD is an essential part of the supply analyst’s responsibility. Effective communication with suppliers (TMC, TME, TMA and/or N.A.) is vital. In addition, analyst must be able to quickly and effectively utilize TBP to ensure immediate and efficient problem solving to deliver high customer satisfaction and quick and immediate resolution.
What you’ll be doing
Manage, coordinate, support with each stakeholder: SA Planning, CQS, Operations, NA/JP Supply;
Manage on-time part shipments and delivery from supplier to PCs/PDCs/PDs;
Solve various supply chain issues related to shipments, quantity discrepancies and/or various problem resolutions with suppliers and throughout the supply chain;
Develop and sustain positive relationships with both internal and external Customers/Stakeholder, to manage parts supply and ensure smooth material flow throughout the supply chain while delivering a high level of service;
Foster personal growth and development to meet current and future business needs. Heavy focus on TBP/Problem Solving, JKK, analytical skills and developing knowledge of project management;
Achieve and ensure milestones with quality, to ensure proper communication and coordination of parts shipping and delivery throughout the supply chain (supplier to PC to PDC)
KPI Reporting:
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
Respond to requests for information, status updates, KPI’s or explanation of SA customer fulfillment and cost
What you bring
BS/BA degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in data acquisition and analysis for resolution of inventory and supply issues
2+ years of analytical skills to research, understand, and improve operational efficiency and customer service performance is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels up to senior leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Added bonus if you have
2+ years of experience in Japan/North America ordering procedures and supply chain management
Experience writing proposal A3s, project A3s, training presentations, & cost-benefit analysis
Knowledge of parts systems applications (Service Portal - APS, TPNA, EPC, GSPS, etc., as well as Q360 and TI)
Ability to access new-SMS and/or SMS-SP systems
Previous quality process experience related to GR’s and Field Fix actions
Detailed knowledge and understanding of Service Supply Chain (Supplier -> PC -> PDC/PD -> Dealer)
TBP Certification Completion with Daily Application
