We’re hiring a Range Facilities Analyst to support Naval Special Warfare range operations in Coronado, CA. This position helps track facilities projects, work requests, planning documents, and supports the day-to-day management of range facility needs.
Position Summary
The Readiness and Training Analyst supports NSWG-11’s Operations Directorate (N3) in readiness reporting, training analysis, curriculum development, exercise support, and high-risk training program compliance. This position helps ensure training and readiness efforts are planned, tracked, reported, and aligned with commander’s guidance across the organization.
This is an onsite position supporting classified work at the Silver Strand Training Complex, NAB Coronado.
Key Responsibilities
- Support NSWG-11 N3 in readiness and training analysis efforts
- Assist with Defense Readiness Reporting (DRRS) and maintenance of readiness dashboards
- Support development of reserve training curriculum and training scopes
- Coordinate with planners and leadership on exercise support
- Help track and collate training actions and support training program compliance
- Validate operational training and equipment requirements
- Assist in development and execution of long-range and short-range training plans
- Support administration, inspection, and execution of High-Risk Training (HRT) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) programs
- Ensure training and exercise completion is accurately recorded in the proper systems
- Provide oversight/support for Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation (NCEA)
- Prepare reports, status updates, and other readiness/training products for leadership
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Valid state driver’s license
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately enter and manage data across multiple systems/databases
- Former Active Duty Naval Special Warfare professional who served at a minimum rate/rank of SOC or SBC (E-7)
- Completed qualification/training as an NSW Range Safety Officer
- Experience running High Risk Training evolutions within NSW
Desired Qualifications
- Master Training Specialist (MTS) or Journeyman Instructor certification
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations
- Ability to work onsite in a classified environment
- Ability to complete required ORM Assistant and High-Risk Training Assistant designations within required timelines, if needed
- Ability to provide documentation supporting required certifications and qualifications
Travel
Limited travel may be required in support of inspections, readiness events, and training site visits.
