Program Manager (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position provides critical administrative and operational support to a dynamic engineering leadership team during a period of organizational evolution. Working part-time in a hybrid environment, you will serve as a key enabler for team leads and executives by managing coordination activities, supporting program tracking initiatives, and facilitating seamless operations across multiple workstreams. This role requires a proactive professional who can balance administrative excellence with strategic project support, ensuring that leadership can focus on high-impact priorities while you handle the essential operational details that keep the organization running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule recurring team meetups, leadership meetings, and organizational events
- Provide calendar management and scheduling support for engineering leadership, including a Vice President
- Assist with employee onboarding processes and coordinate office moves related to return-to-office initiatives
- Support program tracking and project management for leadership-driven initiatives and Chief of Staff projects
- Prepare materials, reports, and presentations for leadership meetings and organizational communications
- Manage logistics for team events, travel arrangements, and cross-functional coordination activities
- Maintain organizational systems and tools to ensure efficient information flow and operational continuity
- Facilitate communication between leadership and team members during periods of organizational change
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant administrative, coordination, or program support experience
- Prior experience working at Microsoft with demonstrated knowledge of internal systems
- Experience supporting engineering leadership or technical organizations
- Background in coordinating events, onboarding processes, and organizational initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Slack, and other collaboration platforms
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
- Strong administrative coordination and organizational management capabilities
- Excellent calendar management and scheduling proficiency
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency with business operations and process management
- Strong data management and tool proficiency
- Experience supporting senior engineering or technical leaders
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 1 day/week)
- Duration: 3 months
- Pay Range*: $49.50 - $56 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 20 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
