Job Summary:
As a Data Visualization Lead, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and lead a team on complex projects that may span to design, develop, and govern enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards and reports while owning the Power BI platform (node/capacity) health, performance, and cost optimization. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in dashboard development, data modelling, and DAX, along with exposure to Copilot in Power BI to accelerate insights, report creation, and user adoption.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the promising team in PowerBI development and design, development, and delivery of enterprise Power BI dashboards aligned to business KPIs Translate business requirements into semantic models, measures, and impactful visualizations.
- Establish and enforce dashboard design standards and visualization best practices Review and optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability Mentor and guide Power BI developers on DAX, data modelling, and report optimization Leverage Copilot in Power BI to accelerate report creation, insights, and narrative summaries.
- Ensure semantic models are Copilot‑ready (clean relationships, optimized measures, meaningful metadata) Own and maintain the Power BI Premium / Fabric capacity (node) Monitor and optimize:
- Capacity utilization and workload distribution
- Dataset refresh and query performance
- Overall, Power BI consumption and cost
- Define and enforce Power BI governance standards (workspace strategy, dataset reuse, certification) Act as the Power BI and Analytics SME for business and technology stakeholders Drive user enablement, adoption, and best‑practice training
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years BI/Analytics experience with 5+ years in Power BI and Only Engineering degree in IT / Computer Science (or higher related fields) will be considered
- Expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service), data modelling, advanced DAX, and Power Query
- Experience leading enterprise BI platforms and dashboards
- Strong SQL skills; deep understanding of Import vs Direct Query
- Power BI Premium / Fabric capacity management experience
- Hands-on with Copilot in Power BI and AI-assisted analytics
- Microsoft Fabric exposure; SAP BO a plus
- Power BI Admin / Platform Owner experience

Communicating Complex Concepts –Translates complex Power BI concepts such as semantic models, DAX calculations, and data modelling into clear, business‑friendly explanations for stakeholders with minimal technical background.
Agile Development – Works within agile delivery models for BI solutions, contributing to iterative development of dashboards, interpreting progress metrics, and continuously improving analytics deliverables based on stakeholder feedback.
Cloud Computing – Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based BI using Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric, including managing Power BI Premium/Fabric capacities and implementing Import and DirectQuery models.
Database Design (Physical) – Designs and optimizes physical data models using star schema principles in Power BI, ensuring performance, scalability, and adherence to organizational data design standards.
ETL Process – Builds and maintains ETL processes using Power Query (M) and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, refresh reliability, and business‑ready datasets.
Information Management – Leads and advises on enterprise BI platforms, including Power BI administration, semantic model governance, data quality standards, and enablement of AI‑assisted analytics and Copilot insights.
Modelling: Data, Process, Events, Objects – Develops and maintains data models representing business processes and metrics, explains models to stakeholders, and improves entity relationships and access patterns for efficient analytics.
