The NPI Manager - MineStar Performance Center of Excellence (MPCoE) is responsible for transforming validated performance concepts into scalable, deployable, and supportable MineStar performance solutions that deliver measurable value at customer sites.
This role owns performance solutions end‑to‑end. From concept handover through production readiness, deployment approval, and long‑term sustainment. The NPI Manager ensures solutions are designed for scale, stability, and operational longevity, working in close partnership with Deployment and Knowledge teams from concept handover through release and beyond.
What You’ll Do:
Own the productionization of validated performance concepts into production‑ready solutions
Translate concepts into scalable tools and automated workflows aligned to MineStar platform standards
Own performance solutions from mid‑lifecycle development through sustained operation
Ensure solutions meet platform architecture, security, and maintainability requirements
Embed solutions into MineStar platforms where applicable
Partner with Knowledge Leads to ensure solutions are usable, clear, and operationally relevant
Partner with Deployment to certify deployment readiness, adoption readiness, and support readiness
Maintain solution quality and stability post‑release and drive continuous improvement based on field feedback

What Skills You Will Have:
Technical Excellence: Strong systems thinking across data, analytics, tools, workflows, and platforms, with the ability to develop scalable solutions to significant technical and performance challenges aligned with platform standards.
Consulting: Experience providing technical and performance guidance to internal and external stakeholders, applying consulting techniques to translate complex concepts into actionable, production‑ready solutions.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated use of structured problem‑solving approaches to anticipate, analyze, and resolve technical, operational, and process challenges across diverse and complex environments.
Effective Communications: Strong ability to clearly transmit, receive, and interpret information across performance, technology, and operations teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and shared understanding throughout the solution lifecycle.
Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with cross‑functional partners, including Deployment, Knowledge, technology teams, and site stakeholders, to drive adoption and sustained outcomes.
Top Candidates will also have:
Experience with MineStar performance tools, analytics, or platform‑based solutions
Exposure to solution readiness, sustainment, and operational support models
Experience partnering with deployment, enablement, or adoption teams to drive customer outcomes
Additional Information
The primary work location for this role is Phoenix, AZ.
This position may require 25% travel.
Domestic relocation is available.

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
