Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an eye for detail, making it essential for candidates to have experience in various cleaning practices.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
- Uphold the principles of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests during their stay.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
