Property Control Coordinator. Control and maintain records of government and company owned equipment, material and parts. Gather and distribute information, physically and electronically. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, set priorities and coordinate work in an effective and efficient manner. Interpret and implement property procedures, instructions and regulations.
Accountability
- Perform all work-related actions as directed by management.
- Follow instructions by work center shift lead, or above.
- Ensure safety, security and preservation of government and company owned equipment.
- Address/approach customer in courteous and professional manner.
- Address/approach co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain work center in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Meet government and company license and/or qualification requirement(s).
- Complete and comply with On-the-Job Training (OJT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste (HW), Tool Control Program (TCP) and Egress Familiarization, Program and all safety regulations by site, city, state and federal.
- Classify, tag, monitor and transfer government and contractor property (in accordance with government regulations).
- Collect, track and tender equipment/tools in for calibration.
- Provide equipment/tool report to Logs and Records work center.
- Prepare to purchase, replace or dispose of government or company items in accordance with current regulations.
- Investigate loss, damage or destruction of government and company property and prepare associated reports.
- Update ‘master property records, e.g. transfer, condition code, calibration data, inventory dates and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Conduct and supervise property inventory as required.
- Prepare and control contractor and government property records.
Education and Experience
- High school Diploma or GED, required.
- Five (5) years of experience in property control and acquisition.
- Experience with government property, e.g. individual materiel readiness list (IMRL).
- Working knowledge of warehouse, acceptance, issue, inventory and handling.
- Knowledge of inventory procedures, desirable.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Office environment (within a warehouse).
- Walk, reach, climb (stairs and ladders).
- Lift or push up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Substantial use of upper and lower extremities, to drag, haul or tug objects.
- Exposure to noise hazard.
- Exposure to inclement weather and extreme heat.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any company/government required qualification, certification, licensing, or security clearance.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift or schedule.
