To be successful as a Senior Data Engineer, you should have experience with:
Delivering cloud‑native (AWS), production‑grade data pipelines and analytics‑ready data products
Databricks or equivalent Spark‑based platforms for large‑scale data processing and analytics
SQL and Python (including PySpark) for multi-faceted analytics, large‑scale transformations, and performance optimization
Scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using modern cloud data engineering patterns and tooling such as DBT, including orchestration, monitoring, and operational reliability on AWS-based platforms
Using AI coding agents to accelerate development, improve code quality, and assist with debugging, testing, and design reviews
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Familiar with Capital Market data sets and corporate finance concepts
Prior data analytics/engineering experience in IB or Asset Management industry
Exposure to GenAI‑related data curation, including curated datasets, metadata enrichment, embeddings, or feature pipelines supporting AI/ML use cases
Ability to onboard new data sources and work with structured and semi‑structured data (SQL, JSON, XML)
Data platform standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices; exposure to graph or non‑relational databases is a plus

Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
