Collins Aerospace, Digital Technology, is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. A minimum Collateral Secret is required. Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology and be excited about finding new ways to add value to our business.
This position is on site in Richardson, TX .
What YOU will do:

You will be a subject matter expert (SME) on the team in multiple technologies, including:

Virtualization

Servers
-
Clients
-
Networking

Storage

Backup

You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team and/or leads cross-functional initiatives.

You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.

You will develop derived technical and security requirements. Ensures use cases, user profiles, workflow, and requirements are accurate and complete.

You will develop budgets for enterprise projects in the infrastructure and labor
-
You will create solution matrices w/ cost & schedule based on the project requirements.
-
You will lead development and/or improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE)
-
You will use your advected knowledge to facilitate resolution of new and existing complex solutions.
-
You will advise on the technical solutions to support the projects you are assigned.
-
You will be a key focal contact for a med/large infrastructure teams on the initiatives they are assigned.
-
You will provide SME support for the Tier1 and Tier2 infrastructure teams.

You will Support basic and complex Linux use cases.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Active Secret Clearance is needed day one.

Experience supporting technology in a professional environment, secure environment experience preferred:
-
Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VM Ware, etc.)

Linux Systems Administration
-
Networking (important)
-
Compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53)
-
Ability to obtain IAT Level III certification (ex. CISSP). Active cert preferred.

Ability to obtain technical certifications in one or more of the following technologies (Virtualization, Networking, Windows Administration, or Linux)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
