The
Microsoft 365 Consumer Marketing Subscriber Engagement and Retention team plays an influential role in evolving the product and driving growth for Microsoft’s consumer subscription businesses by nurturing, retaining, and growing the subscriber base. We are looking for a
Product Marketing Manager to lead Microsoft 365 Subscriber Engagement -- a role at the heart of how millions of people discover, adopt, and get lasting value from their Microsoft 365 subscription. You will own the strategy and execution behind some of our most important consumer growth priorities, using data and customer insights to deeply understand what motivates subscribers and how features like Copilot can meaningfully improve their everyday lives. From there, you will design onboarding experiences, lifecycle programs, and campaigns that move customers from trial to paid, and keep them engaged long after. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where creativity and analytical rigor go hand in hand. You will design and run experiments, identify opportunities across the customer journey, and translate insights into programs that delight customers and drive measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with partners across product, engineering, research, and finance to bring innovative ideas to life -- sharing what you learn broadly with peers and executives to shape strategy at scale. Responsibilities
- Use subscriber research and behavioral data to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, uncover compelling scenarios, and identify opportunities to drive feature adoption, satisfaction, and renewal
- Analyze product funnels, end-to-end user journeys, and renewal dynamics to size and prioritize growth opportunities that increase subscriber engagement
- Design and execute subscriber engagement experiences, communications, and lifecycle programs that help users discover and adopt high-value features at the moments that matter most
- Influence product and engineering partners to shape customer experiences that drive meaningful engagement, connecting data-backed insights to roadmap priorities and investment decisions
- Propose and align on OKRs and growth targets with partner teams, then drive execution against those goals through thoughtful short and long-term investment recommendations
- Present ideas, experiment results, and performance insights to senior leaders in business reviews, translating complex data into clear narratives that inform strategy
- Track and communicate progress against key results and broader business goals, serving as a go-to resource for stakeholders who need to understand performance drivers and subscriber trends
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business o OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business o OR equivalent experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
