The Digital Center of Excellence Production Team is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing digital, social content and creative assets for the Studio brands and titles to support the wider Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing Team. Consisting of a unit of designers, editors, and producers, with full-service development-to-distribution capabilities, the team serves as a one-stop internal creative agency to address the marketing needs of a rapidly evolving consumer base.
Job Summary:
The Preditor is a platform-savvy production team leader focused on rapid, high-quality content creation & delivery. This role partners with content leads who own strategy/creative and works across the internal production team to translate that direction into creative, engaging, and effective content.
The ideal candidate will be expert in all aspects of video production, from pre-production through physical production, and post-production. They will execute of a wide range of styles and roles in the video production pipeline, including: EPK and junket style content, red carpet, convention, and live event video coverage, sponsored content, on-location social content capture, remote interviews, animated short-form trailers and explainers, and long-form compilation edits.
The Preditor plans ahead, scopes work, builds timelines, and ensures every request is executed with precision while balancing speed, quality, new creative ideas, and brand compliance.
Operating with independence in a high-volume environment, this role will work alongside a team of fellow producers, editors, graphic and motion designers, as well as production management support staff, and will be required to be able to lead a variety of concurrent productions to successful completion, articulating a clear vision for other supporting team members to follow.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading small teams, as they will work closely with their team members to implement and follow production schedules, ensuring deadlines are being met and high standards are being maintained. This role also orchestrates projects across editors and motion designers, maintains stakeholder alignment, and safeguards consistency across 16:9 and 9:16 outputs. Organizational and collaborative skills as well as an ability to prioritize are a must.

Additional responsibilities and proficiencies include:
Expert understanding of a wide range of post-production techniques and technical processes, including multi-cam editing and audio syncing, color correction, audio cleanup, and motion-graphics methods such as keyframe animation, compositing, and rotoscoping.
Produce and edit videos in 16:9 and 9:16 formats, incorporating footage from TWDC film, series, and marketing content, as well as field cameras, music, sound effects, and graphics.
Organize workload, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work well within a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Post-Production Oversight & Leadership
Review incoming assets and ensure proper media organization, versioning, and adherence to TWDC technical, creative, and legal standards.
Maintain strong understanding of platform specs, codecs, aspect ratios, and emerging post technologies to ensure efficiency and innovation.
Physical Production including directing, shooting, & producing
Plan and lead small-scale on-set productions, including camera, lighting, and sound setup, ensuring clear communication of roles and objectives to crew.
Support live events, junkets, red carpets, and other field assignments as needed, ensuring alignment between production capture and post deliverables.
Content & Technical Development including
Partner with peers across production, design, and creative to codify best practices, templates, and technical standards.
Project & Cross-Team Management
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment that prioritizes clarity, accountability, and shared success.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $105,100.00 to $140,900.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
