The Strategy & Integration Lead for Environmental Effects Engineering (EEE) is the strategic integrator, operational coordinator, and senior advisor to the EEE Leader, responsible for driving cohesion and performance across an enterprise-wide network of engineering test laboratories.
As EEE expands to incorporate more environmental (EMI/EMC, TEMPEST, Dynamics, Climatics, Nuclear effects) and related test labs across Collins Aerospace, the Strategy & Integration Lead ensures unified operations, shared standards, and harmonized execution across a significantly broader organizational footprint.
Building on the current multi-site model (Cedar Rapids, Largo, Marlborough, Melbourne) this role enables EEE to transition into a single, integrated, company-wide testing organization capable of supporting both classified and unclassified programs, spanning defense, commercial, and cross-business-unit applications.
The Strategy & Integration Lead ensures operational excellence, drives strategic initiatives, and builds the enterprise muscle needed for process harmonization, technology investment planning, workforce alignment, and capability integration across a growing number of lab sites.
What You Will Do

Partner closely with the EEE Leader to define and execute a unified vision for an enterprise-wide test organization, integrating all Collins test laboratories under a common operating model

Lead the development and rollout of multi-site strategies including common processes, asset sharing, cross-site work-share planning, and standardization across all lab types and disciplines

Support long-range planning for future lab network expansion, consolidation where appropriate, and alignment of site capabilities with enterprise needs

Create a unified operational ecosystem across a large and growing set of environmental, EMI/EMC, TEMPEST, dynamics, climatics, and nuclear effects labs

Establish common standards for documentation, safety, SCOUT-based request workflows, quality systems, and execution discipline across all labs

Lead deployment and governance of baseline metrics for cost, utilization, throughput, and schedule performance across the expanded network

Build business cases for capital investment, modernization, or expansion of key equipment (e.g., chambers, high-power RF systems, shakers, thermal systems

Align multi-site workstreams, ensuring resource balance and coordinated execution of complex test campaigns across multiple labs

Support integration and modernization initiatives such as TEMPEST chamber expansion, facility upgrades, and cross-site harmonization projects

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
