We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Trade Compliance Lead in Morton, IL.

Job Summary:
- The Trade Compliance Lead manages the import and export compliance programs to ensure all import and export activities comply with U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations.

What You Will Do:
- Developing and executing risk assessments of import and export compliance programs to ensure that all sites follow established policies and procedures.
- Managing the development, implementation and maintenance of import and export compliance policies and procedures.
- Leading all import and export activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations; consulting with legal experts to resolve any legal compliance issues or concerns.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Import/Export - MFG: Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Cross-Team Integration: Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
- Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
- Extensive trade compliance experience or general risk compliance understanding
- Strong negotiation and writing skills
- Strong communication skills

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
