Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Echo Technologist, you will provide echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. You will also prepare patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
Responsibilities:
- You will maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving
- You will complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate period
- You will maintain education and development appropriate for position
What qualifications you will need:
- Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography
- Registry required eligible from The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- BLS
- One to three years of experience
- Basic computer skills, ultrasound equipment and probes
