The Boeing Company’s Specialized Infrastructure Operations Organization is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Product Owner to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
This position will serve as the technical product owner for the infrastructure modernization backlog, acting as the primary interface between technical delivery teams, operations leadership, and business stakeholders.
The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and managing the modernization roadmap across the infrastructure and service delivery teams.
This role is focused on technical delivery leadership, backlog prioritization, value realization, and modernization execution, ensuring that infrastructure initiatives align with operational priorities and long-term strategic objectives.
The IT Product Owner will serve as the lead for Agile execution practices across the infrastructure modernization portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for all IT needs identified by the business
Assist with the development of project requirements
Assist management in the alignment of resources for daily operations
Aligns work to key priorities to maximize product value
Own and manage the infrastructure modernization backlog
Serve as the primary contact for technical IT modernization needs identified by the business
Leverage Agile best practices and tools (e.g., Jira) to manage backlog grooming and sprint planning
Translate operational and business needs into epics, features, and user stories
Manage and prioritize backlog items to maximize product and operational value
Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities
Align work to key modernization priorities and enterprise objectives
Define product vision, roadmap, and modernization milestones
Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and operational delivery metrics
Identify bottlenecks, risks, and delivery dependencies across technical teams
Work closely with leadership to align resources for daily operations and strategic initiatives
Support Agile delivery practices
Facilitate cross-functional coordination between Helpdesk, Linux, Infrastructure teams
Provide guidance, mentorship and Agile coaching to other IT staff and Product Owners
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
Active Security+ certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start date
3+ years of experience in with agile development methodologies
3+ years of experience with Agile planning/project management tools (Version One, Jira, etc.)
3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
3+ years of experience leading or performing the activities of complex IT programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
Experience interpreting data and presenting recommendations to leadership
Experience with technical delivery leadership skills
Experience with Agile transformation
Experience with infrastructure modernization programs
Experience with ITIL service delivery frameworks

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $133,450 – $180,550
