Description:The Security and Emergency Services (SES) Organization of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works is soliciting exceptionally qualified candidates to and promote the safety and security of classified programs. SES professionals that are hired are committed to helping safeguard our workplace and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests. The chosen candidate for this position will perform as the Security Representative Staff supporting multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs), within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) located in Palmdale, California and Serve as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) supporting a Government Agency role, implementing cost effective and value-added security solutions that fortify our nation’s emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate will:
-Lead a cross-site team and develop, administer, and audit security programs associated with the protection of classified and proprietary information in compliance with DoD and corporate policies-while maintaining inspection readiness.
Candidate will work closely with customers to tailor security requirements as required.
-Provides support and security oversight in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and contract.
-Develops and conducts security education materials, briefings and classes. Investigates security incidents and prepares reports to include incident recommendations and corrective action to be taken.
-Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership.
-Processes company and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
-Develops security based out of the box solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
-Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Basic Qualifications:• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Industrial Security experience
• Experience in DoD Special Programs/SAPs
Desired Skills:• Possess an Active Secret security clearance, investigation current within the last 6 years and be able to maintain SAP access.
• Experience in Self Inspections, Corrective Action Plans and Construction Security Plans
• Experience with Personnel records management, Program Access Request submission process, and working knowledge of JADE
• Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/9 and ICD-705 Physical Security Requirements
• Coordinate and communicate with internal customers and stakeholders, helping to ensure the timely completion of accurate and thorough inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers and industry partners that promote and support the mission.
• Be self-driven and results oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400 - $150,650. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
