Our team designs experiences that people love and confidently engage to improve their financial lives. We work closely with Technology and Product Management to ensure we are problem-driven (versus solution) and customer-first. While we have individual expertise across product design, research, content strategy, and design operations, we all operate as empowered leaders with strong design rationale. In this role, you will:- Lead complex initiatives including those that provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
- Develop and execute customer experience solutions for Wells Fargo's app and website
- Apply emerging AI-enhanced workflows to accelerate ideation, execution, and quality of design output
- Oversee the execution of projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Serve as design advocate with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives
- Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
- Lead customer experience strategy for platforms and products
- Influence roadmaps and business decisions by providing customer experience considerations and participate in roadmap planning and virtual teams
- Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience designing UX and UI in Figma
- Exceptional visual design skills showcasing your ability to solve for complex problems in a delightful way
- Comfort presenting to all levels of seniority
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape and drive work independently
- Understanding of front-end development fundamentals (HTML/CSS concepts, responsive design) to facilitate cross-functional partnership and tech-informed designs
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt as AI and emerging capabilities reshape how we design products
- Ability to clearly articulate a strong design rationale; storytelling skills that compel stakeholders
- Experience with customer facing content design
