Job Description
The Production Manager assumes responsibility once the Sr. Production Manager completes initial setup. This role leads all pre‑production and day‑to‑day production operations managing timelines, budgets, logistics, vendors, and execution to ensure a smooth workflow from prep through wrap.
Pre‑Production Management
- Review handoff materials from the Sr. Production Manager, including budgets, schedules, staffing, and vendor plans.
- Build detailed prep timelines, and logistics plans.
- Coordinate crew onboarding, vendor bookings and compliance requirements.
Day‑to‑Day Production Execution
- Work closely with third‑party companies to manage daily operations and troubleshoot challenges.
- Keep production on track and communicate updates to the Director of Production Operations.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage project‑level budgets, cost reports, and actual spend and identify cost‑savings opportunities and control overages.
- Reconcile vendor invoices and support financial reporting throughout the production lifecycle.
Compliance & Policy Monitoring
- Ensure all production activities follow NBCUniversal safety, legal, and compliance guidelines.
- Manage incident reporting and support EHS and safety protocols.
- Manages the games‑vetting process for productions.
- Manages RIW training for talent and ATL crew.
Workflow & Operational Efficiency
- Improve production workflows and implement streamlined processes and tools.
Cross‑Functional Liaison
- Collaborates with Executive Producers, technical teams, post‑production, and internal departments to support daily production needs.
- Escalate issues to the Director of Production Operations as needed.
Others
- Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in production management or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production operations, planning, and execution.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Ability to work in varying on site environments and weather conditions.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and compliance protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Power BI, Airtable, and internet tools.
- Willingness to travel, including weekends and short notice assignments.
- Ability to support a 24/7 production workflow including late or last-minute scheduling.

Eligibility Requirements
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a 24/7 production environment.
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, FL area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCUniversal’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
