Note: This position is open exclusively to candidates currently enrolled in the Hiring Our Heroes Fellows Program. Applications from individuals not participating in the program will not be considered.
Why This Role Exists
SoldFast is expanding its real estate acquisitions operation and needs operators: people who can build trust with homeowners, understand the numbers behind a transaction, and execute in the field with confidence. This program exists to develop those operators from the ground up.
The right candidate for this role is not someone who wants to watch the business run. They want to understand how every part of it works and eventually own a piece of it. If that is you, this program was designed with you in mind.

Who This Program Is For
This fellowship is designed for transitioning service members who:
- Are interested in real estate, business development, or acquisitions as a career
- Are comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and building trust quickly
- Can manage administrative systems and learn CRM tools without hand-holding
- Want exposure to real business decisions, including pricing, strategy,, and negotiation
- Are looking for a career path that rewards performance, not tenure
This program is likely NOT the right fit if:
- You are looking primarily for a field or trades role (see the Trades Fellowship instead)
- You require rigid daily structure and close supervision to stay on task
- You are not comfortable with ambiguity or a business model that is still scaling
- You are unwilling to make outbound calls or engage directly with homeowners

Program Overview
SoldFast helps property owners navigate difficult real estate decisions, delivered in person by people they can trust. Participants in this program will gain real, working experience across office operations, field evaluations, and real estate fundamentals.
You will be mentored by two of SoldFast's founding leaders: Mitch, co-founder and licensed broker who oversees systems and administrative operations, and Celeste, Director of Agent Success. Together they will give you a complete view of how SoldFast acquires, evaluates, and closes real estate transactions.

Reliability: Present, prepared, and on time, every day, without being reminded
Ownership: Take responsibility for your tasks and your learning; do not wait to be pushed
Communication: Communicate directly with Mitch and Celeste: about progress, confusion, and concerns
Engagement: Actively participate in appointments, debriefs, and team discussions; do not just observe
Discretion: Treat all client, lead, and business information as confidential
Initiative: Identify process gaps, ask operational questions, and bring solutions, not just observations

- Understand SoldFast's full business model from lead generation to close
- Run basic property appointments independently with coaching support by program end
- Demonstrate competency in CRM management and pipeline operations
- Contribute meaningfully to at least one process or system improvement during the fellowship
- Identify and communicate a clear long-term career path within or adjacent to SoldFast

Your Mentors
Mitch, Co-Founder, SoldFast | Systems, Administration & Licensed Broker
Mitch is a co-founder of SoldFast and the architect of its operational systems. As a licensed real estate broker, he oversees the administrative and compliance side of SoldFast's business, ensuring every transaction runs cleanly and every system supports the team in the field.
Your operational and business foundation will be built through Mitch. He will walk you through how the business is structured, how decisions get made, and how a real estate acquisitions company scales without losing the trust that drives it.
Mitch will hold a weekly one-on-one with each fellow to review progress, address questions, and provide direct feedback on development within the operational side of the business.
Celeste, Director of Agent Success, SoldFast
Celeste leads agent success at SoldFast, which means she is responsible for ensuring that the people in the field have what they need to perform at the highest level. She works at the intersection of people development, process execution, and real estate performance.
Your field training, appointment coaching, and seller communication development will be guided by Celeste. She will accompany you on field evaluations, debrief every appointment, and coach you through the conversations that make or break a real estate acquisition.
Celeste brings a direct, high-expectation approach to development, the same kind of environment that produces competent, confident operators.
A Note on Our Leadership Culture: Please Read
SoldFast is in an active season of growth, and we want to be transparent with you: we do not yet have a fully defined military-style leadership framework in place.
What we do have is a genuine commitment to building one, grounded in the principles of chain of command clarity, accountability, ownership, and mission-first execution. Mitch and Celeste already operate with these values. What we are working to build now is the formal structure to scale them as the team grows.
If you join us through SkillsBridge, you will not be walking into a finished system. You will be among the first people to help us build it. We are specifically looking for fellows willing to document what worked in their units, advocate for standards they believe in, and help us translate military discipline into a civilian real estate operation.
The leadership systems you help establish will outlast your fellowship, and the operators who follow you will build on what you create.
“We are not asking you to conform to our culture. We are inviting you to help define it.”

The Bottom Line
We are not looking for someone who wants to be managed into performing. We are looking for the person who walks into a new environment, figures out how it works, identifies what could work better, and starts moving. That is who they have always been.
If you have led people under pressure, communicated clearly when things were uncertain, and held yourself to a standard when no one was watching: those habits are exactly what Mitch and Celeste are looking to build this operation around. We want to talk.
