Track and improve manufacturing metrics (Yields, Scrap, HPU, Cycle time and out of flow) to meet schedule, cost and quality targets. Monitoring of established processes via data collection for statistical analysis purposes as well as the use of various continuous improvement enablers.

Analyzes and modifies product designs in collaboration with Design Engineering to assure manufacturability. Develops design, selection, specification, and optimization of the required equipment, fixtures, tooling, gaging, processes, and operations. Determines other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications.

Evaluate manufacturing capability and provide technical support at the supply base.

Lead/Manage a group of Manufacturing Engineering to ensure staffing and department budgets are met.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Leadership/Management experience in an Engineering environment.

Familiarity with vacuum dewar processing equipment, methods, and processes

Familiarity with a cleanroom work environment

Computer proficiency with demonstrated ability to learn new software applications

Familiarity with Supply Chain Management

Active secret clearance

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics

Experience using Six Sigma process improvement methods.

Knowledge in Statistical Analysis (SPC)

Strong Technical Problem Solving

Experience in transition to production programs

Strategic and visionary planning, develop relationships and achieve buy-in from all relevant parties

Familiarity with Manufacturing systems. Shop floor control, BOM’s, Document control (SAP PRISM or Equivalent)

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
