Job Description
Responsible for media management across Latam main markets: including Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Chile, from briefing, to strategy design, planning and execution. Align with global business and communication strategies and partner with the media agency to develop the regional media strategy.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Lead the briefing process with the media agency for B2B and B2C media plans, ensuring alignment with the regional strategy
- Design and deploy, together with the media agency, B2B and B2C media plans across the region, including media planning and execution.
- Lead the development, approval, and execution of creative assets for B2B and B2C media plans, working with both consumer and trade teams in Orlando and Hollywood.
- Ensure that assets will be correctly developed/adapted and delivered on time.
- Ensure B2B and B2C media plan analysis and tracking of results, media plan performance and optimization on a weekly basis.
- Manage media budget, interacting with both media agency and Universal finance teams, tracking all invoices, with accuracy and timely payment.
- Work with website team in Orlando to ensure full tracking of media plan on UO website, through media pixels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
% OF TIME
- Engage with senior leaders from Marketing and Sales to understand annual global strategies for UDX, including Universal Orlando Resort complex and Universal Studios Hollywood. 5%
- Lead the development and execution of the B2C and B2B Media Plans, from strategic planning and tactical implementation to performance evaluation and ongoing monitoring of key metrics to ensure optimal effectiveness and alignment with business objectives. 40%
- Hold a close relationship with the media agency, fostering continuous learning journey and implementation of improvements throughout time. 5%
- Connect with the Coms Planning team and Paid Search/Social teams in Orlando and Hollywood to make sure all media assets will be localized and approved on time for the plan start date. 25%
- Manage B2C and B2B media budget, efficiently allocating resources, optimizing investment, controlling invoices payment and analyzing ROI. 10%
- Manages 3rd party campaigns with strategic partners, such as Visit Florida and Visit Orlando, approving media plan and providing approved assets for the plans to start on time. 5%
- Assess promotional partners and trade partners media plans feeding trade marketing and promotional managers with insightful information for decision making. 10%
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Be a self-driven professional
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Deep knowledge of media KPI setting and performance metrics across platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of media platforms (Meta (FB Ads), Google Ads Manager, Programmatic).
- Understand media needs in each market (example: Ancine in Brazil).
- Analytic skills
- Time management, organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail as well as follow-through ability, strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented attitude: collaboration and communication
- Experience working in cross-functional groups, across multiple countries

Cross-Functional Responsibilities
SPECIFIC EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Advanced/fluent in English and Spanish is needed.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in marketing, advertising, engineering or business preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years’ experience in media management (agency or company) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel/tourism and/or sales experience is a plus.
