Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and Spanish, creating an inviting shopping experience
- Assist customers with selecting mobile plans, devices, accessories, and related products through engaging product demos
- Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling, transactions, and receipts with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing products to ensure an attractive store presentation
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
- Educate customers on device features, plan options, and troubleshooting techniques to promote customer loyalty
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse customers
- Previous retail sales experience, ideally within electronics or grocery store environments, is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen actively and address customer needs confidently
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
- Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and a positive attitude are vital for success in this role
