KBR’s InfrastructureSolutionsbusiness has grown significantly over the past few years following a succession of major project wins and new partnerships across Australia. To support thisgrowth we are seeking aPrincipal Civil Engineerto provide market and delivery leadership across a diverseportfolio oftransport, water,energy,and broader civil infrastructure projects.
Youwill provide technicalexpertise,leadershipand mentoring to our established civil engineering team. The role will focus on developing execution strategies during tenders and then leading the delivery of civil infrastructure components of major capital works projects. Depending on the project, this may also include design management for civil works, siteinfrastructureand complex multidisciplinary interfaces.
You will bring extensive experience in a similar senior civil engineering role within theconstruction, buildings, infrastructure, transport,wateror energy sectors, with a proven ability in design management and coordination of complex engineering projects.
You will have experience leading and managing teams of civil engineers and designers, supported by strong knowledge ofAustralian Standards, relevant codes, and the NCC/BCA.
Specialist technical experience in areas such as transport infrastructure,wateror wastewater assets, energy&defenceinfrastructure,would be highly regarded.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Project management of civil engineering tasks, including investigations and the preparation of technical reports, designs and drawings, contractdocumentationand technical specifications
Preparing or leading proposal and project teams to develop technically sound, well-written and clearly articulated proposals, reports,specificationsand calculations
