Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.
The Senior Manager Procurement Solutions leads a team of 10+ sourcing excellence, compliance and innovation team members across global logistics procurement. This role is accountable for systems, process, analytical support, automation and cross‑functional execution to ensure sourcing decisions and flows are data‑driven, compliant, and scalable.

What You Will Do:
- Establish and maintain standard processes, controls, and governance to support consistent sourcing and contract execution
- Partner with category leaders, operations, finance, legal and transportation operations teams to resolve risks, gaps, and execution issues
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmap for Logistics Procurement in conjunction with our business partners
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen compliance
- Translate large, complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations used for budgeting, sourcing, and leadership decisions
- Support major procurement and logistics initiatives through structured analysis, issue tracking, and outcome measurement
- Develop and coach team members; set clear priorities, expectations, and accountability
What You Will Have (Basic Requirements):
• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
• Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
• Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Matrix Management: Understanding of the importance of being able to leverage external resources when required and ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across department, functional, and geographic reporting lines.
• Cost-Benefit Analysis: Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis; ability to analyze the
purpose and scope of a producer, product, process, or project in terms of cost and benefits.
• Category Management: Knowledge of category management within an organization's goods and services sector; ability to use this knowledge to analyze and improve the end-to-end procurement process and maximize business profitability.
• Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.

Summary Pay Range:
$159,120.00 - $238,680.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
