Description:You will be the Engineering Aide Sr. supporting the Electromechanical Assembly Area for Lockheed Martin Lufkin Operations. The Manufacturing Department is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing processes for military-grade electromechanical assemblies.
What You Will Be DoingAs Engineering Aide Sr., you will work closely with the manufacturing engineering team by providing disposition instructions to rework defective electromechanical assemblies back to engineering requirements. Additional responsibilities could include.
• Working with Manufacturing Engineers to evaluate defect trends and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Occasionally rework defective hardware.
• Tooling design, review, and repairs.
• Creation of Rework Process Plans.
• Markups of work instructions for planning changes.
• Completion of Operator Proficiency.

Basic Qualifications:• Minimum of two years on production experience
• Ability to obtain security clearance so must be a US citizen.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret work instructions.
Desired Skills:• Knowledge and experience in use of Apriso.
• Technical Associate Degree.
• Drafting Skills for tooling.
• Wire Harness Assembly Experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Highly skilled in problem solving techniques and methods (process, product, procedure).
• Attention to detail and proven pride on workmanship.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
