Job Title: Sourcing & Supply Chain Internship program
Role Overview
The primary goal of this role is to strengthen our supply chain resilience by reducing our Supply Risk exposure. By executing single-source mitigation strategies, maintaining visibility of contractual statuses, and developing supplier risk scores.
Supplier Risk Scoring: Assist in the creation and updating of supplier scorecards, integrating financial, operational, and compliance data to assign objective risk scores.
Qualifications & Requirements
Stretch: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, and Logistics).
Ensure Sourcing Dashboard monitors:
1. Reduce Supplier Risk below 3 out of 4 via:
• Monthly Maintenance of DGS smartsheet supplier risk
• Single/Sole-Source mitigation: Create 80/20 strategy with mitigation plan for sole/single risk.
• Contract Status: Support 100% coverage. 30 Contracts in scope for 2026
2. Supplier Business Reviews
• Supplier Risk Score: Develop SBR dashboard and RAILs from SBR sessions and incorporate it into Sourcing Dashboard tool. The goal is to have supplier’s scorecards in Power Bi
3. Proactive Tooling Monitoring dashboard: Equipment, Machine, Tooling registered in oracle and Power Bi with actionable plan.
