Based in our Adelaide office, we are looking for aGraduateFire Protection Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will be heavily involved in a range of transport, buildings and Defence infrastructure projects focusing on the design of fire service systems. You will be in involved with projects across Australia but with an SA focus.
In this role, you will develop into a technical specialist within thebuilding services team, taking ownership of both established and innovative fire protection practices.
You willbe responsible forapplying relevant codes and standards to develop compliant fire protection system designs that integrate with the project’s architectural, structural, and building services layouts. The role requires close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fire detection, alarm, suppression, and smoke control systems are spatially coordinated, constructible, and aligned with the overall building design.The engineer contributes to design documentation, authority submissions, and construction support, resolving coordination and interface issues to achieve compliant, coordinated outcomes across all project stages.You’llalso contribute fresh perspectives and creative solutions to complex fire‑safety challengesencounteredthroughout project delivery.
