This Talent Casting Coordinator position is an hourly administrative role supporting the Disney Live Entertainment Talent Casting, Booking and Contracts team. Some of the areas that this position could support are auditioning, booking talent, contacting, scheduling and tracking interactions with talent.
You will report to Senior Manager – Talent Casting Operations.
This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weeklyworking hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
What You Will Do
The Talent Casting Coordinator provides great client service and strong administrative support for Casting and Booking Directors, and for the Talent Casting leadership team. Through close collaboration with the entertainment operating areas, as well as with event and convention production teams, and creative partners, the Talent Casting Coordinator communicates with all talent and with multiple work teams. Responsibilities include receiving, previewing and logging promotional material, organizing and processing documentation with focus on the convention/special event business, and generating ongoing reporting as it related to Talent Casting, Booking and Contracts metrics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proofreading and professional telephone skills while communicating with talent agents, managers and talent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Open to learning new software applications specific to the Casting & Booking Department
- Complete assigned tasks while keeping team current/informed of progress/status
- Experience providing great Guest Service
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally required
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Entertainment
- Experience with the terms and conditions of various labor contracts as applicable
- Experience creating reports from raw data
- Proficiency with Smartsheet computer application
- Understanding of contractual language and processing
- Proficient in SAP
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an Arts/Entertainment field or equivalent is preferred

The pay rate for this role in New York, NY is $23.10 to $28.90 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
